The Institution was founded on 23rd August 1997 as a cornerstone unit of the Marthandam Integrated Development Society (MIDS) and now it comes under Malankara Catholic College. Initially designated as the Kanyakumari Community College, the institution was built with a core vision: creating absolute self-confidence among the younger generation by providing high-value technical skills and strategic training to secure full employment and self-employment.

Pioneered under the visionary leadership of our founder, Rev. Fr. Prem Kumar, MSW, the college launched with several strictly job-oriented diploma programs. Every dynamic pathway was self-designed from the ground up to fulfill demanding workforce requirements within the evolving professional business scenario.

The comprehensive curriculum for these specialized, commerce-centric frameworks was carefully engineered in compliance with formal university standards.
